The painting is related to the experiences in North Africa, where the artist went in 1927, starting from Gabés in Tunisia, and in the autumn of 1930, both times together with his friend, the painter Ernesto Quarti Marchiò. The painting is signed RLocatelli Tunisi, for this reason we can lead it to the first trip in the Mediterranean Africa and we can date it to Late-Twenties.
